The mission in full
The mission of Malta Cultural Institute Foundation is to promote the importance of culture as a source of knowledge, identity, creativity and community connection.
The foundation seeks to encourage people to discover cultural ideas, appreciate artistic expression, learn about heritage, and recognise the contribution that cultural participation can make to individual development and collective life.
Through its approved activities and organisational initiatives, the foundation aims to create opportunities for cultural understanding, dialogue and creative exploration — respecting different perspectives, encouraging lifelong learning, and presenting cultural information in ways that are accessible and meaningful.
The mission guides programme development, partnerships, communication and organisational decisions, and remains consistent with the foundation's governing documents.
