About Malta Cultural Institute Foundation

Malta Cultural Institute Foundation is a cultural organisation identified in Malta under registration reference VO/1805.

Its name reflects a cultural focus and the importance of encouraging engagement with artistic expression, cultural knowledge, heritage and learning. This website is intended to help visitors understand its identity, its approved objectives and the activities it genuinely undertakes.

Culture can create opportunities for people to explore ideas, appreciate historical experiences, engage with the arts and connect through shared interests. A clear cultural purpose also supports communication with participants, cultural practitioners, potential collaborators and the wider public.

Our mission is to encourage cultural appreciation, creative expression and meaningful participation in cultural life. Our vision is a culturally engaged community where creativity, heritage, learning and shared experiences help people connect. Both are set out in full on their own pages.

We believe cultural participation should be respectful, accessible and grounded in accurate information. Descriptions of current programmes, governance arrangements and leadership on this website are published only once confirmed by the foundation.

The registered name, registration reference and verified contact details are listed on the Organisation Information page, so that visitors can identify the foundation and distinguish it from similarly named entities.
